Every year on February 4, World Cancer Day is observed with the goal of raising awareness of cancer and encouraging its prevention, detection and treatment. Steered by the big cancer charities, who use the ensuing media blitz as an opportunity to maximize their fundraising campaigns, the impression given is that discovering so-called “miracle” drugs, and beating cancer, will only be possible if we all give generously enough. What these charities don’t tell you, however, is that the pharmaceutical industry’s annual global sales already amount to over 1 TRILLION dollars annually. Moreover, by 2018, sales of drugs are expected to reach a staggering 1.3 trillion dollars a year. As such, the question has to be asked: Why should a trillion-dollar-a-year industry expect us to donate money to support its research?
The fact is that the pharmaceutical industry is not a health industry at all, but an investment industry. Rather than seeking cures for diseases, its main driving force is the profit it produces for its shareholders. If you doubt this, ask yourself what interest could drug companies possibly have in eliminating cancer as a scourge of mankind if doing so would simultaneously destroy the vast revenues they receive as a result of the disease’s continued existence?
As soon as one understands this, other aspects of the pharmaceutical industry’s approach to cancer, and diseases in general, immediately become clear. For example, whilst chemotherapy does kill cancer cells it also kills healthy cells too. Because of this the drugs used in chemotherapy have a wide variety of toxic side effects, with many of them causing new cancers and additional diseases. For the pharmaceutical industry, however, this is a highly profitable outcome as it inevitably leads to the prescribing of still further drugs, which in turn result in more side effects and ongoing damage to the patient’s health. It’s a vicious circle and a license to print money for the pharmaceutical industry.
Worse still, it’s not even as if drug treatments address the primary cause of cancer either; namely, a chronic deficiency of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other micronutrients. In this respect it is no coincidence that studies conducted in a variety of countries clearly show the micronutrient content of our food has been falling substantially for at least half a century now – and very likely even longer.
But the drug industry deliberately ignores all this because vitamins and other effective natural health therapies – through targeting the principal cause of cancer – threaten its business model. And, most important of all, unlike synthetic chemical drugs, natural substances can’t be patented.
The tragedy of World Cancer Day is that over 8 million people are dying every year as a direct result of not knowing the truth: Victory Over Cancer IS possible! Aided by a team of scientific researchers at the Dr. Rath Research Institute under the direction of Dr. Aleksandra Niedzwiecki, Dr. Rath has identified a specific combination of micronutrients that can pave the way towards turning cancer into a manageable disease. The combination includes vitamin C, the amino acids L-lysine and L-proline, the green tea extract Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) and other micronutrients that work synergistically together. Dr. Rath’s extensive research – conducted on more than two dozen cancer cell types – has repeatedly shown this nutrient combination to be capable of blocking all key mechanisms that make cancer a deadly disease.
As Dr. Rath has always pointed out, “Good health is not given to us voluntarily, we need to fight for it.” For our Foundation, therefore, eradicating cancer essentially depends on one key factor: How quickly can we spread the news that this disease is controllable naturally? Towards this goal, with millions of lives at stake, we invite you to work with us and help make a world without cancer a reality for everyone.
