However, when it comes to identifying what is and isn’t good for our health, it should be remembered that the medical profession has been wrong before.
As this 1949 American TV commercial advertising cigarettes shows, it is not so long ago that commercials featuring doctors smoking were telling people to see how cigarettes “agree with your throat.”
Absurd, isn’t it?
Perhaps, not so many years from now, people will look back with similar astonishment at the medical profession’s current advocacy of patented synthetic chemical drugs?
In the meantime, the next time a doctor tells you that vitamins and other natural health therapies are dangerous and of no use in the prevention or treatment of diseases, examine the evidence for yourself and remember that the medical profession has been wrong before!
