Poor diet is a factor in one in five deaths around the world, according to the most comprehensive study ever carried out on the subject.

COMMENT

To put it lightly, this study significantly understates the importance of the role of diet and nutrition in preventing premature death. Based on Dr. Rath’s groundbreaking Cellular Medicine concept, we now know that the primary cause of today’s most common chronic diseases is a long-term deficiency of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other essential micronutrients. This means that, far from being unavoidable, chronic diseases can now be prevented and successfully controlled.

The fact is however that the trillion-dollar-a-year pharmaceutical industry isn’t interested in eradicating chronic diseases, as doing so would essentially wipe out its profits and terminate its existence. Instead, therefore, using its patented chemical drugs, it focusses solely on treating the symptoms of chronic diseases – thus ensuring that millions of patients worldwide continue to require ‘treatment’ and remain a source of profit for drug company shareholders.

Long-term, the pharmaceutical industry’s control of our healthcare systems can only continue until such time as we succeed in making natural preventive healthcare approaches a human right.
