Health authorities in England have agreed to make a leukemia treatment with a colossal price tag of $361,750 per patient available for children.
Predictably being hyped as a so-called ‘wonder drug’ by the British media, the fact is that, just as with other pharma treatments for leukemia, this latest therapy fails to address the primary cause of the disease. This is entirely intentional, of course, as cancer is a cash cow for the pharma industry. Drugs for cancer are pharma’s largest business sector, earning it around $80 billion a year. This income is the only reason why cancer remains a death verdict for over 8 million people worldwide every year.
Crucially, what the pharma industry won’t tell you is that we already know that the primary causes of cancer are chronic deficiencies of essential micronutrients. Based on this groundbreaking discovery, research conducted at the Dr. Rath Research Institute under the direction of Dr. Aleksandra Niedzwiecki has revealed that micronutrients can inhibit growth and inflammation factors in leukemia cells. The institute’s researchers have found that a synergistic combination of vitamin C, the amino acids lysine and proline, and the green tea extract epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) has anti-leukemia effects that are far superior to those of individual micronutrients used alone.
