Researchers at Curtin University in Australia have found that a garlic extract may help fight Alzheimer’s disease.
There is no doubt that both garlic extracts and garlic itself are highly beneficial to human health. Research suggests, for example, that certain compounds in garlic can help reduce the risk for cardiovascular diseases, as well as having anti-tumor and anti-microbial effects, and that they are also beneficial to patients with a high blood glucose concentration. Particularly impressively, even a simple homemade garlic extract has been scientifically shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
