Link Identified Between Selenium Levels And Outcome Of Coronavirus Infection

NEWS

Researchers have found a link between selenium levels in the body and cure or death rates of those with the coronavirus.

COMMENT

Deficiencies of selenium and other micronutrients are a major factor contributing to compromised immunity. As Dr. Rath describes in his recent Open Letter, more than 25,000 scientific studies have established a link between vitamins, antioxidants, and the strengthening of the immune system.

Playing essential roles in flighting infections, micronutrients have the advantage that they are able to affect multiple stages of infection simultaneously. When taken in synergistic combinations, micronutrients can kill pathogens or stop their multiplication, limit the spread of infectious agents by strengthening the integrity of the body’s connective tissue, prevent the formation of pathogens and eliminate them from their ‘hiding’ places in the body, and have a systemic effect through improving the overall efficacy of the immune system. There is no single drug that can do all of these things simultaneously!
