Statins Not Effective At Cutting Risk Of Dying From Heart Disease

News

“New research has analyzed 35 studies looking at the effects of cholesterol-lowering statin drugs in cutting the risk of dying from heart disease. The researchers found three-quarters of the studies reported no reduction in mortality among patients taking the drugs.” [Source: Daily Mail (UK)]

Not only are cholesterol-lowering statin drugs ineffective in reducing the risk of dying from heart disease, they also cause serious side effects. Research has shown they cause memory lapses, low energy, and other problems. They also double the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and increase the risk of skin infections. Other research has linked the drugs to muscle disorders and idiopathic inflammatory myositis, a potentially fatal muscle disease.

As if all this wasn’t bad enough, recent research has shown that for more than 51 percent of people, statins don’t lower cholesterol levels. In fact, and as Dr. Rath’s research has proven, cholesterol isn’t even the cause of heart disease. This means the entire statin drug business was built on a lie. In a groundbreaking study published in 2015, scientists at the Dr. Rath Research Institute showed how heart disease is actually an early form of the vitamin C deficiency disease scurvy. Two years later, with drug industry profits from statins collapsing, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in Britain confirmed that the cholesterol theory of heart disease is ‘dead’.
