Official data from the UK’s Office for National Statistics show that almost a quarter of the recent deaths registered as COVID-19 in England and Wales were not caused by the coronavirus. Publication of this latest data comes at a time when there is growing suspicion that global fatality numbers may have been inflated, such as by conflating deaths where the deceased had simply tested positive for the virus with those that were directly caused by it. Questions are therefore being asked regarding whether, in order to frighten the world into accepting experimental pharmaceutical vaccines, aspects of the global COVID-19 statistics could potentially have been exaggerated.
An article published in The Spectator magazine in May 2020 described the way COVID-19 deaths were being counted in the UK as a “national scandal.” Authored by Dr. John Lee, a former professor of pathology and National Health Service (NHS) pathologist, the article explained how, following a loosening of the UK’s rules surrounding death certification early in the pandemic, we have no idea how many lives have really been lost to the coronavirus in the UK.
While the UK government subsequently reviewed its death count in August 2020 and reduced the number of recorded fatalities by more than 5,000, evidence suggests that the country’s figures remain far from accurate. A recent investigation conducted by the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper received an avalanche of responses from families saying that deaths of their loved ones had been wrongly attributed to COVID-19. The examples cited included that of a 99-year-old man suffering from dementia and obstructive pulmonary disease. The man’s principal cause of death was recorded as coronavirus despite him having tested negative for it three times. With some doctors citing pressure to include the virus as a cause of death, a number of UK members of parliament are now demanding an inquiry.
Physicians in the United States have also reported pressure to list COVID-19 on death certificates, even when the virus appears to have no relation to the victim’s cause of death. Bearing in mind that Section 3710 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act increases Medicare payments to hospitals treating COVID-19 victims, American hospitals are arguably incentivized to include COVID-19 on death certificates and discharge papers. The New York Times has reported that New York City’s death toll includes people who were “presumed to have died of the coronavirus but had never tested positive.”
Analysis of the COVID-19 global death toll is complicated by the fact that countries use different methods when counting coronavirus fatalities. Some countries only include deaths where the deceased had a prior positive coronavirus test result, for example, while others also include those where there is merely clinical suspicion of COVID-19. Speaking to the UK’s Daily Telegraph newspaper in March 2020, Professor Walter Ricciardi, scientific advisor to Italy’s minister of health, described how people dying in Italian hospitals with the virus were all deemed to be dying of the virus. Such an approach will inevitably result in a higher recorded death toll than would otherwise be the case.
None of the above should be interpreted as suggesting that the coronavirus isn’t dangerous. The virus is dangerous, but only to people with weakened immune systems. Statistics show those at particular risk include people suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and other chronic conditions. In England, for example, as of 15 April, 2021, only 3,561 (4.1 percent) of the 86,686 COVID-related deaths recorded have occurred in people who were not already known to have a preexisting health condition. Overall, more than half of England’s recorded deaths (46,671 / 53.8 percent) were in people aged over 80 years old.
Globally, the pharmaceutical industry has a vested interest in the number of deaths from COVID-19 being shown to be as high as possible. Drug company executives and their investors seemingly believe that the more frightened the people of the world are, the more willing they will be to accept the lie that experimental vaccines are the ‘only’ solution to the pandemic. Our best strategy for countering such fear tactics is to spread the word that a combination of natural micronutrients has been scientifically shown to block the coronavirus from infecting human body cells. The more persistent and effective we all are in doing this, the sooner the pandemic can be brought to an end.
