Multiple studies now show that vitamins and other micronutrients are powerful tools in the fight against COVID-19.

As early as March 2020, a Chinese medical team was already reporting the successful treatment of coronavirus patients with high-dose vitamin C. Since then, a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical intervention study involving patients at advanced stages of COVID-19 has documented that high-dose vitamin C cuts the death rate almost in half compared to a control group receiving a placebo. As a result, vitamin C is now seen as the critical nutrient for controlling the pandemic.

Other research has shown that daily doses of vitamin D3, magnesium, and vitamin B12 reduce disease severity in older coronavirus patients, and that high-dose vitamin D can cut the risk of death from the virus by 60 percent.

With a systematic review having found that antioxidants improve COVID-19 clinical outcomes, the continued failure of political leaders and government regulators to acknowledge this research has clearly condemned many patients to death. Micronutrient deficiency on admission to hospital has been shown to be related to a high risk of admission to an intensive care unit, intubation, and death.

To read how research carried out by scientists at the Dr. Rath Research Institute has demonstrated the efficacy of combinations of plant extracts and micronutrients against the original SARS-CoV-2 virus and its Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Kappa, and Mu variants, see this article on our website.
