G20 Leaders Agree to Global Vaccination Passport System: ‘Where Will It End?’

“The leaders of the world’s largest economies at the recent G20 meeting held in Bali, Indonesia, did much more than discuss current economic troubles. They also drafted and signed a declaration in which the 20 countries agreed to adopt vaccine passports with the purported goal to promote global travel and tourism.” [Source:]

The impression given by politicians and the mainstream media is that so-called ‘vaccination passports’ or ‘vaccine passports’ are a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. If we dig a little deeper, however, we find that high-level international planning for their introduction was already underway well before the pandemic. Seemingly, the arrival of the SARS-CoV-2 virus conveniently provided politicians with the ‘excuse’ they needed to introduce the idea.

In Europe, planning for vaccine passports began at least 20 months prior to the start of the COVID-19 outbreak. The ‘European Commission’ – the executive body of Europe – first published a proposal for vaccine passports on 26 April 2018. Buried deep in a document dealing with ‘Strengthened Cooperation against Vaccine Preventable Diseases,’ the proposal was essentially ignored by the mainstream media.

A roadmap document issued in early 2019 subsequently set out specific plans for implementing the European Commission’s proposal. The primary action listed in the roadmap was to “examine the feasibility of developing a common vaccination card/passport” for European citizens that is “compatible with electronic immunization information systems and recognized for use across borders.” It now seems clear that, behind the scenes, Europe is one of the main influences pushing for a global rollout of these plans.
