It is no secret that chemotherapy is highly toxic. What cancer patients are not told, however, is that this class of drugs actually encourages the spread of their disease. Worse still, and as Dr. Rath and Dr. Niedzwiecki describe in their groundbreaking ‘Victory Over Cancer’ book, almost half of the substances listed as causes of cancer in the 9th edition of the United States National Institutes of HealthReport on Carcinogens’ are widely-used pharmaceutical drugs.

Examples of cancer-causing drugs include the vast majority of medications used in the treatment of cancer, around half of all antibiotics, more than half of the drugs prescribed for depression and mental health disorders, almost all immunosuppressive drugs, as well as anti-ulcer drugs, anti-allergy drugs, and many other types of medications.

Fortunately, there are safe, natural alternatives to chemotherapy. Taking vitamin D supplements after a diagnosis of breast cancer is associated with a 20 percent increase in survival rate. Research by scientists at the Dr. Rath Research Institute has shown that combining vitamin D with a specific group of synergistic micronutrients can inhibit the growth of breast cancer by as much as 94 percent.
