In order to achieve the ever-higher profits that its major shareholders demand, the studies carried out to gain authorization for new drugs and vaccines are habitually ‘rigged’. This is done through engaging in nefarious practices such as burying bad study results, exaggerating study results, presenting incomplete data, and putting supposedly ‘independent’ scientists on its payroll. So far as the industry’s key stakeholders are concerned, human life is entirely secondary to the maximization of profits and the global expansion of their interests.

A new study by Quinn Grundy, an assistant professor at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, finds that in the United States, more than 1 million industry-sponsored events took place in 2022, a staggering amount in one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in the world.
