At the end of 2018 a total of 37.9 million people worldwide were living with HIV.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>COMMENT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A total of 38 years has now passed since AIDS was first clinically observed in the United States in 1981. For most of that time, the medical establishment has failed to recognize that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dr-rath-foundation.org\/2008\/10\/what-the-arv-defendants-dont-want-you-to-know-about-arvs-7\/\">HIV infection and AIDS are linked to nutritional deficiencies<\/a>. Still unknown to millions of doctors and patients alike, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dr-rath-foundation.org\/2008\/10\/what-the-arv-defendants-dont-want-you-to-know-about-arvs-8\/\">studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals<\/a> demonstrate that nutrition, including proper vitamin and micronutrient supplementation, can help to arrest the deterioration of patients with HIV, delay the onset of AIDS and, by increasing CD4 count and reducing viral load, reverse the progression of the disease.<\/p>\n<p>What these studies confirm, of course, is that Dr. Rath has been right all along.
