[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Conducted by researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles, this month-long study involved 18 overweight or obese adults diagnosed with prediabetes. Patients were split into two groups, one receiving cinnamon supplements and the other given placebo pills. The results showed that those taking cinnamon had significantly lower blood sugar levels compared to the placebo group. The finding builds on previous research which has similarly confirmed a link between cinnamon consumption and improved blood sugar control.<\/p>\n

Drug-based medicine is confined to treating the symptoms of diabetes by focusing on lowering elevated blood sugar levels. However, cardiovascular disease and other complications can still strike even in diabetic patients whose blood sugar levels are successfully controlled.
