Jeremy Hunt, the UK government health secretary, has admitted that drug errors in England cause ‘appalling harm and deaths’.
COMMENT
Evidence suggests that errors in dispensing drugs to patients are contributing to as many as 22,000 deaths in England each year. Overall, such errors may now affect almost one in six hospital patients in the country.
Ultimately, of course, there is no level of additional checks or monitoring of drug-based medicine that can ever make drugs safe. Instead, what is needed is a complete redesign of our healthcare systems towards a focus on disease prevention based on scientifically proven Cellular Medicine and other natural approaches.
