Bringing Health and Hope to Zimbabwe through the Movement of Life

With a total of 4 schools and 3 communities involved, our Movement of Life gardening project in Zimbabwe continues to expand. The list of vegetables being grown is long and now includes beetroots, cabbages, onions, eggplants, green peppers, yellow peppers, peas, carrots, broccoli, green beans, red lettuce, tomatoes, chilies, and mushrooms. A wide variety of fruit trees have also been planted. These will eventually provide the project participants with oranges, lemons, guavas, mangoes, peaches, and other vitamin C-rich fruits. Led by Bruce Kanengoni, our Movement of Life Zimbabwe national coordinator, around 2,000 people in the Harare region are already benefitting from the project.

This video tells the story of how the project began.
