NEWS
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he is terminating his country’s relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO).
COMMENT
President Trump is right to end the United States’ relationship with the WHO. The WHO takes a total of over $1 billion a year from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and other business-related entities. It has sold its soul to these interests and is unreformable.
The WHO’s failures are particularly serious in light of its conduct over the coronavirus outbreak. Despite natural health approaches being available that could help control the pandemic, it has repeatedly failed to act on and share this information with governments and the people of the world. There is no doubt that, had the WHO not withheld this lifesaving information on natural health, many of the lives that have been lost to the virus could otherwise have been saved.
The time has therefore come for the WHO to be broken up and replaced with a new independent global body that is tasked with making natural preventive health a human right. Without any doubt, such a move would constitute an important preparatory step towards achieving the goal of ‘Health for All’ worldwide.
