With evidence of the dangers of COVID-19 vaccines continuing to grow, it is revealing that some political leaders are attempting to deny having tried to force citizens into getting vaccinated. In this respect, New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins’ claims essentially mirror those of his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau who, earlier this year, told a group of students at the University of Ottawa that he didn’t force anyone to get vaccinated. In reality, however, Trudeau had previously stated that proof of vaccination would be required for all federal employees, and that enforcement measures would make sure everyone was vaccinated.

Significantly, therefore, the backtracking by these politicians comes at a time when lawsuits are beginning to be filed over serious side effects and fatalities resulting from COVID-19 vaccines. In the UK, for example, around 90 families are said to be pursuing legal action against vaccine maker AstraZeneca. Many of the plaintiffs say the firm’s COVID-19 vaccine caused them to develop vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia, a condition that can cause deadly blood clots. Others developed Guillan-Barre syndrome, which can result in paralysis. Some have even had limbs amputated.

A COVID-19 vaccine injury lawsuit has also been filed in Australia. This case reportedly has 500 members and is seeking redress for citizens left injured or bereaved by COVID-19 vaccines. The Australian government, its drug regulatory agency and its department of health are all named as parties to the class action, as also are a number of senior public servants.
