This clearly represents a remarkable turnaround for a theory that was once effectively banned from being shared on social media.
Other notable figures to have added their voices to those who believe the virus was created in a laboratory include Richard Dearlove, a former head of MI6, the UK’s Secret Intelligence Service, who says he has seen an “important” scientific report suggesting the coronavirus was created by Chinese scientists and that it escaped from a laboratory, and Dr. Robert Redfield, the former director of the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
