The World Health Organization warned it is ready to send a team of scientists to China to probe how the virus spread to humans and plunged the world into crisis.
Despite even the mainstream media now acknowledging that the coronavirus pandemic may have resulted from a laboratory leak, it remains doubtful that the World Health Organization (WHO) can be trusted to conduct a full and transparent inquiry into the outbreak. Receiving hundreds of millions of dollars a year from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and other vested interests, the WHO’s scientific independence has long been deeply compromised. As a result, with almost three years having passed since it initially claimed it would do ‘everything possible’ to find the origins of COVID-19, the global health body’s credibility now lies in tatters.
